Jump to: navigation, search

Available for full-time or part-time employment? Fancy a career change? Listing yourself in the developers for hire section can help promote your skills to businesses looking to hire.

Listing is easy, just follow the steps below:

  1. Create an account if you have not already done so. All you need to do is pick a username and password.
  2. Once you've logged in, follow the link to your userpage (in the default skin this is in the top-left corner, next to my talk).
  3. Edit your userpage to include information about your skills, experience, and other information that you feel is relevant. You can post your entire resume if you like. Please consult our editing help if you need assistance with syntax.
  4. Visit the developers for hire page and add yourself to the top of the list in the appropriate city (add a new city if required). You can link to your user page with [[User:MyUserName|Jane Doe]]. Make sure that you include today's date
  5. Please indicate whether you're interested in full-time, part-time, casual or consulting, and your availablity for onsite work.

In order to keep the developers for hire list current old entries will be regularly removed from the list. To assist with this process, please take the time to review your entry at least once a month, update your listed date, and move your entry back to the top of the list.

Please remove yourself from the list if you are no longer available for work.

If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to ask on this page's discussion page.
